Deck Shoes again

Hi there,

Just 'zipping' in to share the latest colour scheme of the deck shoes -- decided to move away from the blue theme. How do you like these?


As you can see, I'm trying out a new way to photograph them too!

Here they are in the regular 'pose'.

Rosary Roses

Hi there,

A dear friend of our, S, was inspired by Kimberlee of 'Pondered in My Heart' which describes the creative use of crochet roses to teach little girls to pray the rosary. S thought crochet flowers would make a great birthday gift for a little Catholic girl and hopes that the little one's parents would use them to teach their little girl to pray the rosary.

Here are the custom-order flowers, 10 red & 1 white, made in a large size using double strand of acrylic yarn, so small little hands may grasp them easily.

Precious at Four

Hi there!

Popping in with a quick layout to celebrate our precious little one turning four! 

He brings so much joy and energy to our lives with his ever-ready smile,  boundless energy and optimism - can't hug him enough haha!!

And for the record, here's some of his current favourite pastimes:

• Building 'jet planes' using Lego blocks
• Creating multiple rescue scenarios with his assortment of fire-trucks, police cars and mini Lego-men 
• Transformer figurines and all associated storylines on video
• Going for chocolate ice-cream treats with Papa
• Visiting the local library
• Hanging out with his best pals Alex and Isaac around the neighbourhood
• Going for a 'swim' in the estate's pool
• Having a sandy dig at the nearby beach
• Going for breakfast on weekends with his big brothers in tow
• Drinking orange juice
• Having mum read to him before he falls asleep every nite (my favourite too :))
